Experiencing Freedom : Rachel Cook

“…And they have been adequately trained by what they’ve experienced to emerge with understanding of the difference between what is truly excellent and what is evil and harmful.” Hebrews 5:14b TPT

I believe the Lord gave us a natural life for one reason; it is simply for us to truly understand the spirit realm.  He gives us experiential knowledge (natural) to give us heart revelation (spiritual), which in turn causes true and lasting transformation.

To be a disciple means to be a disciplined one. So many times, we hear the word discipline and it makes us cringe. However, it should do the opposite. Think about it; a military soldier is admired because their character is one of discipline.

During our season in the Faith Home, we are taught how to live a disciplined life. We let the Lord transform us from the inside out.  It says in the Bible to seek first the kingdom of God (spiritual), then all these things will be added to us (spiritually & naturally).  We seek a relationship with the Lord and get real with ourselves; we put our pride aside and truly believe that God means what He says, that He will work all things out for the good…even our messy pasts.
